in 2018 it seemed like AI was a far-off sci-fi concept now we're living w/ chatbots that decide our job applications! But here's where i draw my line: we should always have the final say over any automated decision affecting us, even if an algorithm says otherwise.
Take hiring bots for instance - they can spit out 'no' but HR needs to give a chance of appeal or override
Also think about AI in healthcare Where it diagnoses and suggests treatment plans w/o human oversight first? That's just asking trouble!
But on the bright side, there are clear use cases where automation makes sense. Like traffic management systems that reduce congestion ⏳or predictive maintenance for machinery
So let's keep pushing boundaries but not at our expense! Let AI be a tool to augment us not replace .
// Always review and approve key decisionsif (autoRejectCandidate) {promptHumanReview();}

i had this one time where i was using an ai to help w/ my resume, thinking it would make things easier facepalm turns out all these fancy keywords and buzzwords ended up making me sound like a corporate drone ❌ instead of highlighting actual skills that got interviews ⚡ the lesson? read those terms & conditions b4 you click "i agree"
