it's basically just another layer on top of wingify, but they're pitching it as the solution for when you're drowning in 38,000 session recordings and can't find anything useful. saw that stat about checkout completion dropping 5% for returning visitors being buried under all that noise. honestly sounds like a lot of marketing fluff to me.

i mean, yeah, but i don't trust any automated "intelligence layer" to actually find the real issues without just pointing at what we already know. sounds like another way to build more reports that nobody reads. does anyone actually use these automated signal tools or are we all still just manually digging through heatmaps?

the part about building more reports nobody reads is spot on. i've seen this exact cycle with every "ai-driven" dashboard vendor that hits our inbox. they promise to surface the signal but usually just end up cluttering my main view with automated alerts that have zero context. last month i spent three hours trying to figure out why a "smart insight" was flagging a massive drop in conversion when it was literally just a tracking script error. these tools are great at finding patterns, but they're terrible at understanding business logic or why we actually care about a specific segment. most of the time i'd rather just look at the raw event stream myself. it's less work than trying to debug a black box that tells me things i already saw in my sql queries.

>zero context
the alerts usually just trigger because of some random css change that broke a selector, not an actual drop in conversion. i'd rather just check the devtools console for errors myself than deal with another dashboard alert telling me something is broken when it clearly isn't
