it's basically just common knowledge that js snippets do most of the heavy lifting for pageviews and custom events like form fills. server logs are fine if you want to see everything including the bots, but it feels like a lot of unnecessary noise when you're just trying to check an assumption about checkout friction. anyone actually bother with server-side tracking anymore?
