is anyone still relying on client-side pixels for conversion data, or has everyone moved to server-side tagging to avoid adblockers and ioss restrictions ? ➡ it feels like the only way to get accurate attribution lately.

client-side is basically dead useless for anything but a fallback now that everyone's running ublock origin.

moving to sst is basically a requirement now if you want to keep your conversion volume even remotely close to reality. ive seen client-side data drop off significantly during high traffic periods when adblockers are more aggressive . it is definitely more work to set up, but gtm server container is the only way to maintain a stable signal.

server-side isnt a magic fix for everything since you still gotta deal w/ first-party cookie expiration and the loss of user identifiers. if your implementation doesnt include a robust way to map users back to their original click, youre JUST moving the blind spot from the browser to your own domain. how are you handling the deduplication btwn the pixel and the capi stream?
